Climbing has become one of the fastest growing sports in
Britain. Indoor climbing centres are to be found
throughout the country and many people have now tried the
climbing wall experience.
However, there is no substitute for
the real thing! Natural rock presents a very different
challenge when the holds are not colour-coded.
The experience is enhanced by scenic surroundings with a
view that becomes more spectacular with every vertical metre
.
It's a great activity for developing
trust and communication as each team member masters the
skill of belaying the climber..
Burrington Combe is the venue
for most group sessions but smaller parties can sometimes
venture to more challenging locations. We can even
lend you a pair of rockboots if you want to try something
really advanced!
Timings - single sessions
usually run from 10.00 to 12.30 or from 14.00 to
16.30. We can usually adjust these times to suit the
customer. Evening sessions are also available in the summer
months.
